At last! OpenSUSE 10.3 installation and LiveCD!

Until now if you wanted an Live OpenSuse it had to be a LiveDVD instead of a LiveCD and the thing would not install on your computer –it was strictly for use with the DVD-ROM and RAM memory.

Well, not anymore!

As of today there is, at last, a much needed OpenSuse 10.3 new edition in a LiveCD that can also perform an installation to your hard disk. Yeah!

It’s even better than that because it’s not one edition but two: one with Gnome and another one with KDE. Each one of those contains the very same software available in the non-live installation CDs released last month.

There’s a catch, anyway. The new iso images are only available in English 32-bit versions. But it’s good news, nevertheless.

Links to the download images are available at the announcement webpage.
